Funnily enough initially no, the reason why it was named Battle Music cause I was listening to Pokemon battle themed music and the idea just came into my mind, then someone pointed out that the name also fits with the TF2 soundtrack and I was like "Huh, what are the chances" and it just sticks ever since.
