The recent port to unreal engine 5 has destroyed this game.
It was genuinely fun, but then went on hiatus for months and has returned buggy, broken and unsatisfying.

The port was an extremely boneheaded move that's made this game not worth playing anymore. As someone with over 100 hours in it, all I can say is - what a shame. Not to mention that the monetisation sucks now. You can't even try a character you've not unlocked in practice. (who's idea was that?)

It's so broken that I couldn't even matchmake into a single online game, so I played a few locally, just to be horrified by how awful the game feels now.

The best thing this game could do is revert to the UE4 build and pretend this never happened - but I wager execs and directors would rather watch this burn than admit this tragic blunder.
