This is one of the absolute best games on Steam. If you like text-based games with randomization then you'll love it. I recommend playing on a lower difficulty. I think most of the ships are too expensive--and you'll have to grind with fetch-quests, but not so much that it hurt the experience. Really outstanding writing, environments, and sound design. Combat is vastly improved from Sunless Sea and they took just about everything from that game and made it better. If you like Fallen London or Sunless Sea, you'll love it.

Now that it isn't being released periodically (probably to disguise it's shortness) it's a pretty fun game, assuming you can find enjoyment from replaying the same content up to 50 times.

By far one of the greatest games I've ever played.

I got this game in 2009, and I've easily played for over 4000 hours. This is probably the best game I've ever played.
Although, it does not provide instant gratification like in the trailer. You'll have to stick with it for a few hours to learn how to build and create scenarios at their full value, and really have fun.

I highly recommend this game.

Probably one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. It's really good, and I've played it with countless hours. The amazing modding community makes sure it never gets old.
