First of all, this game isn't nearly as buggy as what you hear, at least on PC. Yeah, there's glitches here and there, but the game isn't broken by any means. CDPR has received a lot of flak for what I think is a gorgeous and really well designed game. Cyberpunk combines a lot of great elements from other games - combat and guidepost mechanics from Destiny and other games, open world feel from GTA, cyberhacking from Watch Dogs, stealth elements from Hitman, RPG elements from Fallout, and interactive storytelling from Mass Effect. The main storyline is very well written, and while you don't have control over every little thing, you do feel like your decisions matter as you play your character. Oftentimes quests involve some problem solving in order to figure out how to get into a certain area and I enjoy how you're always given multiple options to do so. If you want to rush in with guns a-blazing you can certainly do that, but you can also stealthily come up behind people to take them out, or you can also use your cyberpowers to melt people's brains from afar. It feels very satisfying once you've figured out your style of playing - many games put a lot of effort into one thing and leave everyone else out to dry, but CDPR has made sure the game works for everyone. A lot of games that cost $60 aren't actually worth that much - oftentimes there are compromises the developers have made that end up making the game feel crippled. Not so with Cyberpunk. I've already spent over 80 hours on a full playthrough and now I'm using the experience I've gained to do it all over again (this time more carefully). Maybe the only gripe I have is the same problem that open-world games have in general: it's very large. It's very easy to get distracted, because as you gain popularity as a mercenary your phone will start to blow up with people who want you to do things for them. CDPR could easily tamp that down. Even with those drawbacks, it's still a blast. I highly recommend you get this if you're into futuristic games that look good and feel tight.
