I just wish this game was more active again. I remember playing Blockland on a Windows XP machine when I was a lad back when the game had default maps like Bedroom and Kitchen. I always remember playing the demo of the game while listening to Scatman John on a Windows 7 laptop in the early 2010's. Today, it's a virtual ghost town, with occasional players showing up to play the game once in a while, but because of the developer's decision of the removal of default maps, not many people play the game anymore, he was also rather toxic to the community by unfairly banning people and dictating what mods mods could be used and was just a jerk to everyone. He was the one who wrecked the game for everyone for those reasons.
I just wish the game would be back to normal. This release hasn't seen a lot of people lately. I bought this game 2 years ago just to relive it, but it's just as empty as I remember it even when I originally played the demo of the game for the very first time.
I wish.... I wish this game can be restored to the way it used to be.....

Eh, it's okay if you needed a cute anime girl on your screen, and it's a easy way to rack up achievements.
Yeah, it's kinda pointless after that, but if you're a rebellious teen that just wanted to see some anime breasts when you're 17 years old, this is a better option than just watching anime p**n like Taimanin Asagi, but to be fair, that is even better then this option, even with the 18+ patch DLC.
You can touch and attack the girls, which is a way too easy way to rack up achievements, and that's about it.
Personally, if you want a anime girl on your desktop, just buy Wallpaper Engine and install an anime wallpaper from the Steam Workshop, which is what I have done..... multiple times..... most of them is Skullgirls.... because my hormones are up the fritz and I really want to f**k Filia Medici.

I would play the game to give you a proper review.... But I can't because the game refuses to even load, even with close to recommended specs, it refuses to load up if at all, it stays on a black screen for a few seconds before crashing to the desktop. I would say this is a fault of Criterion, but no, it's the fault of EA for even releasing the game in a state where you can't load it on anything other than a Nvidia card.

Memory: 1.5GB, my set up has 8GB of it, and it still chugs like a boat on a ocean full of chopsticks. I will only recommend the game if anyone has a way to properly optimize the game for PC's that have 1.5GB of RAM or more, but until that day happens, I don't recommend it, even though I still own it.....

This game stays true to it's description. Cute As Heck

Although a great fighting game, It still lacks more characters. Yes, I know Annie and Umbrella are technically in the game, but Annie's story isn't there, and Umbrella won't show up until 2022 at best.

Positives: Cool art style, clearly inspired by Marvel vs Capcom 2's art style. Characters have a level of personality that is believeable. (Example: Filia being a amnesiac, Parasoul being a princess of a kingdom and a leader, Peacock being the cartoonish type, Painwheel being the tortured one, Ms Fortune being the Nyan type, and it goes on). Story is a bit cheesy, but fun. An actual tutorial in the training mode. Very lightweight on computers with 4GB of ram.

Negatives: Difficult to learn, difficult to master.

Forgot to mention that the game used to be developed by Lab Zero Games, but... we don't talk about Mike Z anymore.....

2023 Edit: Who thought it was a good idea to change everything that made Skullgirls Skullgirls?? Until they change their mind and revert the update like how Star Wars Battlefront 2 '05 reverted it's update due to backlash, this review is going red. Don't buy the game yet, wait until they revert the update to what it was before. That is, IF they do it.

This is a game that is so bad, it makes ET on the Atari 2600 look like gold. You can be gifted this game for free and still want a refund because of how horrible this god awful game is! This game is basically one giant error, with crashing while trying to change songs from my Music folder, to crashing in general. and yet it was beaten by a game released by the fallen saint that is Konami for the worst video game ever, but this is the worst racing game eve next to Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing! Stay away from this cow dung, even if you are a fan of Flatout! Go buy Flatout 2 instead, or Flatout: Ultimate Carnage, because that game is a enhanced version of Flatout 2, go buy anything but this god awful excuse of a Flatout game! This game is a big middle finger to Flatout fans, racing game, and the gaming industry as a whole, this giant error is a joke!!!

Split/Second is a great game, but this port is just bad. The game is locked at 30 fps, you can beef it up to 60, but it screws up the power play timing. There isn't any DLC unless you download a fan patch called Update 3, which adds the DLC cars and the Quarry map. If you want to play it, get the game on console. I will keep the game in my library even though I hate the port, because I care.

Ah yes, Skyrim. The game that is loved by many, modders as well.

Unfortunately, Bethesda made it hard to buy the game as they want newcomers to buy Special Edition. Even without new updates, the game is still great thanks to the support of Steam Workshop. This game was made infamous due to the many youtubers like Markiplier and jacksepticeye.
