A very well crafted game - the world is carefully built with a lot of "show don't tell" and lots of nice small details. The story is very emotionally charged with phenomenal voice acting and creative and believable use of first person perspective. The gameplay is mostly walking and investigating with some fantastic chase scenes. No missable achievements or collectibles as you can replay chapters, but just one linear path in the story.

I really enjoyed this game! The story was compelling, especially with the Choices DLC, and the music is top notch too. The visual style made me nostalgic for Higurashi~ Looking forward to the next Detective Butler game!

This is my first MMO. I'm not really forced to be social here and can just play at my own pace by myself or with friends, but during the anniversary event, it was really nice to see the community banding together, and all the players I have met have been really friendly. The game may not be as big as it used to be, but it is still a top notch storytelling experience for any new or interested players. It's got some really good lore and very Vampire the Masquerade vibes to it. Definitely worth a try, it's free and it isn't pay to win. I can see myself playing this for some time to come, I just wish I had gotten into it earlier!

very very cute game! it's more challenging than it looks with the precise jumping (bouncy windows......) and piano "boss", but also quite forgiving in that you keep your fish collectibles even if you die and there's a checkpoint before each end section. i wish there were more levels, each area had a different atmosphere and they were lovely to explore. it's a must play for any cat lovers! it's worth it for the ending song alone tbh
