One for anyone else with a older PC (not sure if there was a recent patch optimising performance but here is my experience which seems to differ from a lot that I've come across online)

3 hours in played 4 matches, disregarded the doom and gloom reviews regarding performance and gave it a go. I'm running a 970 GTX and i7-4790 processor and 16gb ram- everything on low - smoke effects look a little janky but everything else is alright, definitely playable with no disconnects/crashes to date. Fun game overall if you're into Warhammer or team based PVE shooters like L4D.
