Gun-Dog is a heartfelt love letter to the PC-98 visual novel genre. Space Colony Studios have done an incredible job crafting a game full of charm and soul. The plot, characters, visuals, and music all come together beautifully to deliver a rich and engaging experience.

I absolutely adore this soundtrack and that's saying something, considering I usually find any kind of programmable sound generation (PSG) harsh on the ears :)

Early Access Review
A Love Letter to Sierra Adventure Game Fans and Especially Space Quest Fans!

SpaceVenture is a heartfelt throwback to the golden age of point-and-click adventures, clearly a spiritual successor to the Space Quest series. It’s seemingly set in the same universe and packed with the same dry wit and humour that fans will instantly recognise and love.

As of this review, the game is still in early access, and a few sections feel a bit clunky. However, with updates steadily rolling out, many of these rough edges are being polished over time.

Some early puzzles did trip me up, occasionally featuring obtuse logic or unexpected mechanics. Still, once the game picks up momentum, it becomes an incredibly fun and engaging experience that captures the spirit of classic adventures.

SpaceVenture even echoes Space Quest III in places, a personal favourite of mine, making the journey feel like a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Congratulations to the whole team for seeing this project through and getting it launched on Steam!

It's a great idea but alas runs like poo on my old mini N3350 Celeron that I use purely for Jackbox. Would love some way to switch to a less graphics intensive version.

Weakest pack in the series I'd say by a long shot. None of the games seemed to hit the mark really.

First I guess it's worth pointing out I played all the original games.

So what did I make of the remake?
I loved it!

Is it short?
Yes. I completed the game in around 8 hours which to some is a long time!

Is it better than the original RE3?
Yes. I think the nostalgia goggles must hit people hard when they play this but if you go back and look at how the old game played you can see this is a massive step up! I felt Nemesis evolution handled far better here.

Have they altered elements of the story line from the original?
Yes things have been altered but nothing that gives me fanboy rage.

Is it as good as REmake 2?
No but it's worth remembering that RE2 and RE3 were distinctly different in their play styles! RE2 was a puzzle/exploration/tactical/zombie fest, while RE3 was always more action based.

What is not to like! Possibly one of the best resident evil games I've ever played!

Tanglewood is a game made with the TLC of a gamer who was brought up in the era of classic Sega Mega Drive platform games.

Excellent story, great platforming action with puzzle mechanics. Tanglewood is a refreshing twist on the platforming game genre

Well done Big Evil Corporation! I look forward to your next release.

FINALLY got to play this from start to finish! I was orginally down to beta test but just didn't have the time due to being bogged down with research for my PhD. Anyhow enough about me! Lets talk about the game!

The graphics for a kickstarter game comprising of very few team members are fantastic and well animated. The puzzles were a little too obvious for an experienced point and click gamer but still enjoyable. The storyline, characters and voice acting were top notch! The only real gripe I have is how short it was but that may just be because I enjoyed playing it so much! I Fingers crossed the next episode gets made!

Make by the developers of Pokemon and published by Sega. This snazzy, bright and colourful platformer echos back to the days of old. It's what I'd imagine the combined love child of Donkey Kong Country, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario World and Metal Slug would look like.
