As a huge Portal fan, I came at this game with high hope. I got more than what I was looking for. A really solid challenge along with an extremely thought-provoking plot. It incorporates some religious philosophies into the story which I thought was really cool and somewhat unique. Overall a must-play for those who like puzzles and stories combined into one. Absolutely astonishing. 10/10

Amnesia: The Dark Descent was an amazing experience. It's not that bad in the scariness factor, other than a few tense moments when the music goes crazy while something's chasing you. The storyline is absolutely amazing, and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next with each passing moment. I think the scariest part of this game is the unknown. You never know what to expect. I highly recommend getting this, although I would probably wait for a sale as $19.99 is a bit pricey and it's about 12-16 hours of gameplay depending on your speed.

Alright, so tell me. In what other game can you control a very young child who kills monsters in his basement with his tears, finds various items that turn him into a demonic being, and ends up killing his own mother? Oh wait, that's right. There aren't any others like it. Unlike Call of Duty and all those scrub games, this is actually something new. Get it now. You won't be disappointed.
