I haven't paid retail for any but maybe 3, because I really wanted to play them when they were released. Other than that, I go to 3rd party sites for my serials, or buy in "Developer Sales", like when they sell an entire game franchises sequels altogether for cheap. Holidays are a good time too. Most of my games aren't $60 AAA's either, but at the same time, none of them are cheap indie junk either really. I got a bunch for free too, PCGamer gives out games, or links to games that a developer is giving away for free for like a weekend and stuff.
