Most of the time you're trying to work out why your boat keeps sinking more than doing actual searching and rescuing.

Pros:

Building your own robots
Story to come with it
Ada, a very versatile new companion
The Mechanist's dank costume
Automatrons can be assigned to things
Nice new robot armour

Cons:

Short story
Automatrons can't wear hats
Price
You can't build eyebots
American spelling of armour (easy now, don't get angry)
The best sentry shoulder mounted weapons are unstable and can break
As far as I know automatrons can't be deleted

Overall I think it's a DLC worth having.
