I shouldn't really "recommend" this game, as it's sucking up all my free time, and it will do the same to you too!

Can be a bit grindy, but it's a whole lot of fun, even when getting shot-down

The game that SimCity wished it was

10/10 would land on Mun again (if my new v231 rocket didn't keep exploding on take-off)

10/10 would disobey Elohim again

10/10 would farm again

I adore tower defence games, I've played a lot of them... and this one is, without doubt, the best of them all... It has astonishing diversity, across a huge number of levels, all incredibly well balanced... it's fiendishly difficult at times, and no matter how well you do, you're always left with the feeling that you could have done better... it really is a masterpiece of a game!!!

That said... if you've never played DG, I would recommend you play DG2 first... if this game didn't exist, DG2 would be my #1... but it does, and if you play this one first, you may find DG2 to be a little disappointing... which would be a shame, because DG2 is great... it's just that this one is better...

If you enjoy tower defence games at all... you simply must play Defense Grid... or you're missing out on the genre's finest achievement!!!
