I, once, refunded this game because it always crash whenever I finish the game, or entering the game. But since many update patch happened recently, I decided to rebuy it again. And voila, now the game is running smoothly. Of course many game mechanics and physics that need to be repaired, but at least the developer showed us good result.

First of all, I'm a hardcore fan of GoT series. This review is safe from spoiler.

From the beginning, I was excited of how this game would be developed. Yup, we didn't play characters from the series, instead we will play another new characters from a house that was briefly mentioned in the book. For those who were really diehard fans, yes we will see characters from the series as NPC. And for those, who never watched the series, you will get confused. Since the game itself strongly related to the main story of the series starting from the end of Season 3. I recommended to watch the tv series first to understand the universe of GoT.

I didn't / never realized who the hell is Telltale Games, until a friend of mine told me that they were the maker of "Wolf Among Us" and "The Walking Dead". And I always thought that this game is in Action genre or RPG.

But I was wrong.

If you ever played, Heavy Rain on PS3, well the game just like that. It was story-driven, a few of QTE, picking up choices and a bit of puzzle. It is far from action, rpg, or anything. You probably spend hours on this game just to watch.. yes just to watch cinematic scene. Consider it that you were watching, Game of Thrones extra episodes.

The graphic itself is not quite stunning, well it is good, but not that good. The acting is..., hard to say but the facial expression is considered to be less amusing compared to Heavy Rain (I knew it is in different platform and maybe a different subgenre, but I never played any other Telltale Games). The good is all the voice actor who voiced the character from the series IS the original cast. Peter Dinklage, Emillia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Lena Headey, become the voice talent for their characters respectly. So it feels emphasized playing this game. Another good one is, they developed the scene strongly resembles like the series itself. There were "Previously on last episodes", "Prologue", "Main Theme" YES it was the main theme of GoT with the music from Ramin Djawadi (but with poorly animated map), and it ended with cliffhanger, JUST like the series.

For those who were watching the whole series, I recommend you to buy this game. And welcome to Ironrath, Iron from Ice.

The game that I waited for sale, and YES, it is really good and I'm not disappointed with my purchase. The game itself reminds me a bit of Heavy Rain and L.A Noire, it rich with story and character driven. The graphic is good, and the sound is haunting. For those who like to play point-and-click adventure (added with jumpscare moments), I recommend to buy this game.

Cons :
- The control sucks (easier when using gamepad than keyboard/mouse)

This review might be late, but it may help if you want to buy the third installment of this Arkham franchise.
Released on October 2013, this game is prequel of Arkham Saga, set in 5 years before Arkham Asylum.
The game itself features a very nice graphic and of course its free-flow combat system and predator mode, where you could mashing buttons or wait the enemy and lure them in the shadow.

The pros are the graphic is entirely awesome, the texture, modelling, the colour tone, makes you feel the ambiance of the gritty Gotham. The score is nice also, might be inspired from Hans Zimmer in Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. And if you happened to like the detective mode on previous series, congratulations, in this game there much more side quest which involved using detective mode.

The cons are the game is highly repetitive, it's like Batman glides here, and gllides there, solve a problem, and go to a point, and vice versa. Thanks to fast travel using Batwing we could skip that glide thingy. The story is just so-so if you already played Arkham City you will knew what I meant. Not bad, but doesn't have much improvement for characters.

Overall, it's not a good game, but not a bad game also. Notes : play it with a gamepad, I'm having difficulties when have to play with keyboard, no matter how expensive your keyboard is.

Identical to Fatal Frame series which reminds me of PS2 era, only with better visual. The story itself focused around Linda, the silent protagonist of this game. When a group of highschool students lead by their (yummy milf) teacher on their trip goes wrong turn and suddenly found an empty ghost (silent-hill-lookalike) town that didnt shown in gps.

The environment itself is eerie, typical of many town in West Java province of Indonesia (well the developer of this game came from Bandung, capital of West Java :P ). The music for this game also minimalist, some may say the graphic is quite dated and the voice talent kinda like reading on their script rather acting. But the story itself is pretty good. As predicted, she was seperated from her group, and she had to find them. Many of the ghost element taken from Indonesian urban legend. Also the opening song believed to be a spell for summoning spirits (if you sing it correctly along with some ritual)

The game developer said this was Act 1 and Act 2 will be released for free as DLC.
