I like the route and the trains. It contains 3 easy scenarios.

The route is nice, the trains are nice. However, it only includes 4 career scenarios (which seems to be copies of the standard scenarios). The 2 ICE scenarios aren't the most appealing ones. "Storming into Munich" takes you in the dark, stormy weather. "Wash and Go" requires you to take it extremely slow the first 15 minutes or so (max speeds 40km/h and even 10km/h in the wash). Altough the track speed limit is 280km/h, the stretch is not long enough for you to achieve that speed. The Class 294 locomotive has no career scenarios (only standard scenarios).

I'm not from the US, so that may affect my review here. The route is pretty boring with relatively low speed limit. It's hard to maintain a certain speed with the P42DC, which makes it hard to stay close to the speed limit. I've not yet completed all the scenarios, but the first impression this route gave me, doesn't really tempt me into playing more.

I like the route and the trains. I just wish there was a few more scenarios with the ICE. Only two scenarios are included and one is with bad weather.

As someone who's not from the UK, I was surprised by this train. It feels like an old and crappy DMU, but the noise it makes is lovely. The train has 4 gears, which certainly gives it another flavour. Regardless of the gears, it's still pretty easy to control. I just wish it had a few more scenarios included.

Comes with a decent amount of scenarios. The route has it's interesting parts, but some parts are also a tad boring. The train is pretty easy to control. Signalling is pretty easy to understand as well.

I love this route, comes with varying scenarios (passenger, cargo and shunting).

The mixed reviews made me doubt wether I should buy this game, but eventually I did. As a train enthousiast, I like this. Don't expect a casual game, it's a simulator. Be prepared to learn something about signalling and stuff. The game does feel a little unstable, and mostly crashes when I alt+tab out of the game. Loading a scenario does take a while, but I don't mind since most scenarios last 20 to 60 minutes. Game graphics might not be superb, but certainly not bad either. The biggest downside IMO is the limited amount of countries represented. Over 90% over the scenarios are from the US, UK or Germany. If you're not from any of these three countries, your country is most likely not represented. The ingame academy does teach the basics, but not everything. I myself still doesn't understand what some signals mean, but the internet helps with that. Overall; if you're a train fan and want a simulator, buy it. If you like driving things in casual games, you're probably better off with another game.

Why release a game if there's no server to connect to? This game advertises as free-to-play game, but you can't even play it for free. This is misleading, and thus it gets my negative review.. Don't waste your time downloading this.

Right from the start, this game is way too difficult. The tutorial tries to explain too many things at once, spamming you with popup messages while you're still trying to figure out what the previous message is.

This game has no difficulty setting and seems to throw everything at you at once, in stead of slowly introducing new features.

I could not even complete the tutorial. I already regret buying this on a 75% sale...
