Very solid space survival game that has a lot of potential! Hoping the dev team will secure enough financial ressources to finish and release the full version. If you're a fan of series like the expanse, please do give it a try and experience the thrill of surviving in outer space.

Overall a nice game! I love the fact that Amplitude took the risk of going into a more action-oriented genre. It might not have the same depth as some their previous games, but I love the aesthetic look chosen.

Even though there are a few bugs here, this game is for me a resounding YES in terms of recommendation. It is such a breath of fresh air, since I haven't played such an engaging campaign for an RTS in decades. As an avid fan of story-driven single player RTS, the story brought me back to my teenage years when I would play Warcraft 3 and Age of Mythology at night when everyone was sleeping. The experience managed to be even better than those games!

So really, a big THANK YOU to the developpers for making a game like this! At this price, you get way more than what you bargained for and I really encourage anyone who might be curious to give it a try.

Not being a fan of roguelites, I can wholeheartedly say I've had a lot of fun playing this game! It's definitely better when played in co-op. The graphics and UI are very polished while not overwhelming, and the heroes are varied and fun to play. The game itself is very punishing (perhaps a bit too punishing at times?).

Even though it's a bit light on the content side, it's still a game that's high in quality. Therefore I encourage anyone who might be curious to give it a try and support the devs.

I know my opinion isn't going to be very popular here but I'll put it there anyway, as I think players should know what they're getting into if they're buying this game.

Let's start with the positives first:
-Very interesting concept! The ability to predict the enemy's movements and actions while planing yours is I think one of the most original innovations in the genre to date.
-The mech designs are absolutely incredible and make you feel powerful as you drop them onto the battle field.
-The almost endless possibilities of customisation which gives the player a lot of freedom in his play style

Despite all these, I had a lot of gripes which left me frustrated in the end:
-The gameplay loop ends up becoming very repetitive and offers little variety: 1)go to this point, 2)kill everyone, 3)take their gear, 4)repeat. It would've been more interesting to add less offensive classes to both player and enemy AI to make the combat scenarios less unidimensional (mechs specialising in hacking other mechs's sensors for example, or others specialising in repairing mechs on the battlefield, building defenses etc.).
-Aside from the shield, I ended up never using secondary weaponry due to the fact that I could perfectly achieve the same results with primary weapons. It would've been better to find alternative solutions to insentivise the use of secondary weapons (flares to divert incoming missiles, energy shields that acts as a passive protection against energy weapons, repair drones, jetpacks that offer temporary flight, etc.).
-Although it's nice to be able to upgrade the mech van, I think some better balancing on ressource spending on the tech tree would've been a good way to avoid stacking up common components too quickly. It would've been great also to be able to spend components to upgrade the stats and tiers of weapons/body parts from your inventory.
-I wished there was more impact on the story as you progressed through the map. This Ubisoft-esque way of capturing regions without any real stake feels redone over and over, I feel there was a missed opportunity to make the idea of reconquering a map impactful and engaging. Aside from the capital, it would've been nice to have key areas to capture that make the storyline and difficulty progress forward (retake that research facility to unlock new upgrades, disrupt the enemy's supply line to cripple their effort in that region, make the final push into that heavily guarded fortress to capture that region, etc.).
-The text description of the items to craft in the workshop is the same for a lot of items and offers very little information about the future capacibilities of the items themselves. I would've loved to see more data regarding the item that I want to craft, so I can make a better informed decision in the end. Also a 3D preview of the item on the hologram table would've been nice to see.

It's a bit of a shame. I really wished that this game was as awesome as it woud sell itself to be. I like it in many aspects and it's not a bad game, but I can't recommend it as all I see is half baked ideas and a repetitive gameplay..

A friend recommended me this game, and I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised by it!

For someone that is into solo games with a heavy emphasis on the story, lore and atmosphere, this one really scratched that itch. The gameplay makes comprehensive use of the mouse button and although there are times where the game gets a bit easy (when disarming traps for example), it makes it up by having an indepth skill tree and lots of classes which makes the game replayable a lot of times.

It was entirely developped by a single person, but you could tell that a tremendous amount of time and thought were put into fleshing out the world. The comicbook style and the gritty sound design give a lot of character and depth into this game.

If you don't know what to play and are looking for an experience that is not like your average AAA title and don't have a lot of time to invest into a game, I highly recommend this one.
