Dead or alive, this game is for me.

You know, for all the hate this game got for being generic when it came out, once you're out of the prologue, the game really does tell a heartfelt story of a man who doesn't want to give up on his wife.

Are there bugs? Yeah, maybe. Doesn't change the fact this is still a masterpiece.

Retreading the ground Postal 1 laid down, but without any deeper implications; Hatred is an okay top-down shooter that lies to its middle school friends about cutting itself while blasting MCR.

Solid remaster. Great nostalgia game. If you didn't grow up with it and aren't a Star Wars super-fan, you'll probably see this as an incredibly mediocre game, which, without rose-tinted goggles, it kind of is. The first two chapters, fantastic, awesome Star Wars romp. The last four though? It becomes increasingly obvious some of the levels were either slapped together or needed more time in the oven (eg. Longo Two-Guns).

That being said, it was nice seeing many of the QoL improvements made, such as making the ID scanner slow-mo so you can use it after combat starts to double check for bounties. Not sure why Aspyr included a flashlight mechanic since the game isn't very dark at any point, but it doesn't hurt anything so I can't complain. The textures have been redone with what looks like actual hand work judging by the quality. The PS2/GC-era aesthetic remains, but the quality of the textures is clearly higher than a simple AI upscale job. For a completely quiet release, there was definite care put into it. I highly recommend the original control scheme as the new one just feels really weird and just doesn't work for me, idk maybe I'm just too used to the OG controls, but it doesn't feel like a modern TPS with the new control scheme either. I encountered no bugs that I wouldn't be able to reproduce in the original game, and many that I did encounter in the original release were not present, or at least did not occur during my playthrough.

Installed, installed Zone Reclamation Project, game continued to crash after 15 minutes. Started a safe titled "pls no crash". Not a single crash since. Wonderful game.

Fantastic game. Beautiful art direction, wonderful sound, engaging gameplay. And it's a PS port that works (and works extremely well I might add) on day one.

Fantastic program, makes writing super easy to visualize. Not much to say except if you are a very visual person, this is the tool to use. I really don't know what else to say this is a bang-up job.
