There really aren't enough martial arts games in the world. And I'm not usually a big PVP or competetitve guy but Absolver really turns me into one.

Most of the negativity around the game seems to be from server issues which at least for me, a US player, the first patch seemed to fix. There's still a few bugs here or there, but the majority of the time the game functions very well now.

As a fighting game it's got to be one of the most dynamic around. Rewarding your ability to watch and react to other players moves and strategies and not just react to meta builds or characters. It is light on PVE content and there are things that could be improved. But so far the devs have been forthcoming, active, and good at addressing problems.

Wholeheartedly recommended for those who want a smart PVP game.
