I've tested and calculated that Harley can understand around 245 words and most non-complex 3 to 4 word combinations. I've demonstrated this to my wife numerous times, yet she's indifferent to his feelings and continues to use insensitive language when discussing his body.
Now, whenever she does it, I reply with something like "Maybe you're the one who's getting fat." Naturally it upsets her, but that's the point. I want her to feel what Harley feels.
This could be the beginning of the end for us.
