Recommended (mostly because my peasants are watching)
Hours played: 11 (10 of which were spent trying to figure out how to not starve my village)

Let me tell you about my experience in Manor Lords, a game where you go in thinking you’re the next medieval genius, and come out realizing your entire economy collapses because nobody harvested berries.

You start with a patch of dirt, a few humble serfs, and a dream. Fast forward ten minutes: your ox is overworked, your villagers are freezing, and some guy named Otto is raiding your village because you dared to exist.

The city-building? Beautiful. The roads curve like a Renaissance painting and the houses tuck in all snug like a Pinterest board. Too bad I can’t admire it for long, because I'm constantly juggling firewood, flour, and food like a stressed-out medieval barista.

Combat? It's there. It's fine. It's mostly a chaotic shuffle of guys with pitchforks who were just baking bread five minutes ago. If you lose, they all die. If you win, half of them still die, but hey—glory, I guess?

The game crashes occasionally, tutorials are more like riddles, and sometimes I stare at the screen wondering if this is fun or just Stockholm Syndrome with extra hay.

But I keep coming back. Because deep down, I do want to be a good Lord. And also because I want to finally make a tavern that doesn’t bankrupt me.

After spending over 70 hours trucking my way through Vive la France!, I can confidently say this DLC is a magnifique addition to Euro Truck Simulator 2! SCS Software has done an amazing job capturing the essence of France — right down to the endless toll booths that will rob you blind faster than a Parisian café charges for a croissant.
If you ever wanted to get stuck behind a tractor on a narrow country road while contemplating life, this is the DLC for you!
The expansion introduces new industries that fit well with France’s economy, including nuclear power plants, agriculture, and high-tech manufacturing. That means you’ll be hauling everything from delicious wine barrels to, uh, potentially dangerous nuclear waste. No pressure.

If you’re a fan of Euro Truck Simulator 2, Vive la France! is a must-have expansion. It significantly enriches the base game with a beautifully crafted French map, realistic roads, and diverse cargo opportunities. Whether you’re a casual driver or a hardcore trucking enthusiast, this DLC is worth every minute spent behind the wheel—just don’t forget to budget for the tolls.

23 hours in, and I'm hooked!
I just started playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, even though it originally came out in 2012, and I’m absolutely soaked in. This game has an insane amount of content, and I can already tell I’ll be spending hundreds of hours on the road.
From the detailed truck customization to the relaxing long-haul drives, everything feels polished and immersive. The world feels alive, and the modding community just takes it to another level. The fact that SCS Software is still updating the game over a decade later? That’s pure dedication. Massive respect to the devs.
If you like chill driving sims or just want to experience the joy of trucking across Europe, this is a must-play. Highly recommended!
I´ve been playing the Iberia DLC and its map is massive, Spain and Portugal are huge, and the DLC captures their scale beautifully. The long motorways feel smooth, but the coastal and mountain roads add a nice challenge. However I feel it lacks some smaller rural roads, as this is my 1st experience with the game I only drove on Highways and Cities.

I am afraid that in the long time the gameplay can feel repetitive. At its core, the game is about driving from point A to B, and if you’re not passionate about trucking, it might not hold your interest for long. The AI traffic can also be frustrating at times, with cars randomly braking, failing to merge properly, or blocking intersections in ways that feel unnatural.
Another downside is the lack of depth in company management. While you can build a trucking empire, the management mechanics are quite basic and don’t require much strategy. Additionally, there’s no built-in large-scale multiplayer.
Weather and environmental changes are another weak spot. There are no seasons or dynamic weather systems, so you won’t see snow, icy roads, or seasonal changes. The physics, while generally good, can also feel floaty at times, especially during collisions, which don’t have as much impact as they should.
If SCS Software improves AI behavior, expands the economy system, and introduces more dynamic weather, the game could reach near perfection.

Despite these flaws....
Just one more delivery... and suddenly it’s 3 AM.

10/10, Would Die in a House Fire Again

Ah, Project Zomboid. A game that asks, "How will you die?" and then proceeds to answer that question within 15 minutes.

My first life? Tried looting a house, forgot to close the curtains, and attracted an entire zombie horde. My second life? Set myself on fire while cooking a single egg. Third life? Climbed through a broken window and immediately bled out like an idiot.

Eventually, I learned how to survive! Barricaded a house, farmed some food, and even had a pet rat named Gerald. Then I turned on the oven, forgot about it, and watched my home burn to the ground while zombies slow-clapped around me.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the pure thrill of surviving the apocalypse while simultaneously managing crippling depression, starvation, and the consequences of your own stupidity—this game is for you.

10/10, would trip over a fence and get eaten again.

Civilization VI is a fantastic turn-based strategy game that builds on the legacy of the Civ series. If you're into deep, strategic gameplay where you guide a civilization from the ancient era to the modern age, it's one of the best games out there.
Playing with friends is chaotic fun, and the modding community keeps the game alive with new content.
Some drawbacks? The AI can be a little weird at times, diplomacy isn't always great, and turns can take a while in late-game, but if you like strategy games, these are small issues.

Frostpunk is an absolutely brilliant and brutal city-building survival game that forces players to make tough moral decisions in a frozen, post-apocalyptic world. It’s not just about managing resources—it’s about managing people and their hope in a desperate fight for survival.
It’s tough — sometimes unfairly so — but that’s what makes victory feel so satisfying. Seeing your city survive against all odds is incredibly rewarding.
The difficulty curve is steep, and a few bad decisions early on can snowball into disaster.
If you love city-builders, strategy games, or survival challenges, Frostpunk is a must-play. It’s an emotionally gripping, brutally challenging, and deeply immersive experience that sticks with you long after you’ve put it down.

Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t just a game—it’s an experience. It’s slow-paced at times, but that’s what makes it so immersive. If you love open-world games, deep storytelling, and a world that feels truly alive, this is an absolute must-play.

Path of Exile 2 stands as a testament to what a sequel should embody: respect for its roots while daring to innovate. Its combination of deep gameplay mechanics, compelling visuals, and a dedicated community makes it a standout title in the action RPG landscape. Whether you're a seasoned exile or new to the world of Wraeclast, Path of Exile 2 offers an adventure that's both challenging and rewarding.

Overall, Path of Exile 2 looks like it will cement its place as a top-tier ARPG. It retains the deep, rewarding gameplay that fans love while refining and modernizing key aspects. If Grinding Gear Games sticks the landing, it could very well surpass Diablo IV as the king of ARPGs.

So far the best game of 2025!!

Immersive Open World: Set on the expansive Lamang Island, the game offers a rich PvPvE experience where 48 players compete against AI enemies and each other, capturing objectives and gathering valuable resources.
The developers actively engage with the community, introducing features like weapon repairability and disconnect protection based on player feedback.
Overall, Gray Zone Warfare offers a compelling and immersive tactical FPS experience, and it's exciting to see how it will evolve with ongoing updates and community engagement.
