Grew up with this series as a kid, this game takes everything you know about the series and pastes it into this game while also bringing new things to the table that make running through the stages of this game a delight every single time. The brilliant continuation of the story and the new generation of characters, as well as adding returning characters makes old and new fans alike ♥♥♥♥ their pants. The real kicker here for fans of the old school games is the Retro characters and Retro OST, that was honestly the cherry on top with this game and it makes going through this game to unlock them so much fun, which brings me to character unlocks; This game pretty much invites you to replay it over and over to unlock new characters and while some people may find that monotonous, I find it satisfying when I finally unlock that character I've been dying to try out in a brand new experience. From boss rushing, to Randomly-generated Survival to just straight up PVP, this game has so many options for you that'll keep you wrapped in and make you not regret this purchase
