Extremely enjoyable and smooth gameplay experience marred by a gacha-like item system that grants player power. In a competitive game like this, it all but kills the experience for an otherwise great game due to unfair matchups via swiping or time commitment.

Performs exactly how you'd expect an Unreal 5 game to run. TAA causes extreme ghosting and smudging, and there is a lack of other AA methods that don't require use of upscaling methods. Extreme checkerboarding with TAA forced disabled, and the lighting in the game is so extreme at times that it feels completely screwed up.

Runescape has such unique and stylized graphics, so to see it be forced down the drain by poor choice of engine and backing technologies really hurts it. The gameplay itself is pretty okay at the moment, just a grindy sandbox with RS skilling so it's about what was expected. Updates will always improve the game, but I doubt it will improve the unplayable mess that is the graphics and it's a shame.

As someone who has played multiple of the testing phases leading up to now, this release is a fairly good one.
Movement alone combined with the weapon/ability upgrade system makes me think that this what Rogue Company could've/should've been while taking HEAVILY inspired elements from other competitive shooters (It blatantly copies MASSIVE portions of maps from games like Overwatch, CS, and Valorant for example) and somehow it ends up being it's own niche little competitive shooter.

Also, Fragrans best girl.

Some of the most well rounded movement I have ever experienced in a 3d platformer that just keeps on giving to the people who take the time to improve their skills.

Also cute bunny-goat girl

This game in it's current state is barebones beyond what I would personally consider acceptable for an early access title. It's not a scam like some other products I've seen on the early access storefront but it's definitely too early to justify the price tag, especially with their future monetization plan for plots in game being a subscription. While I enjoy my time in the game, I can't help but wonder if it's because of the RP group I find myself a part of and if I could just do the same thing in another game with more content and enjoy it even more.

Somehow a complete downgrade since the beta with constant desyncs counting as losses, crashing issues, and 30 frame input buffer (longer than every single other popular fighting game in the past 20 years.)

I'm good chief.

The game initially felt quite jank and goofy when running around, but the further I got into it the more I realized that the game is just genuinely fun. I wish there was a slight bit more variety in the level generation but all in all I enjoyed my time with it and would recommend to give it a try for a free title.

Also the boss music goes so damn hard.

As amazing as this game is and no matter how much love the developer Arrowhead deserves for creating it, their publisher Sony seems to want to screw over the consumer at every step of the way just to have users info and have the utmost control over their titles in the most unnecessary ways.

It all started with Sony requiring Helldivers 2 players to make a PSN account after launch (it was not initially REQUIRED and could be skipped), despite some regions who had purchased the game not being able to create a PSN account at all even through a VPN. These players were met with the game being removed from their library and future purchases in those regions being barred from sale. Though some players could play using workarounds after the fact most ended up having to request refunds and setting their reviews to negative to get Sony to back off on the issue and no longer require a PSN account to play. However, these regions still have not had their ability to purchase the game reinstated, in fact even more regions now in the form of Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia are no longer able to purchase it in additional to the original list of over 70+ regions that cannot purchase it. This is all in the name of "Safety and moderation" by Sony, who has been notorious for being very lax with their users safety and data, suffering multiple data breaches and not informing anyone till weeks or even months later. If you think this is just a Helldivers 2 issue, I'd also like to point in the direction of Ghosts of Tsushima Directors Cut, a singleplayer game which also now is banned in the exact same regions and requires a PSN account despite being a SINGLEPLAYER TITLE.

The game itself has done no wrong, but if we're gonna be treated like clowns then Sony better admit they are the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ circus. Wait for a sale or get the game from elsewhere, or just be like me and recommend that nobody buy the game until the players in other countries are treated like human beings and not pieces of data to be sold and controlled by a mega corporation.

We dive together or we don't dive.
