Great fun but prone to crashes.

You start off with no clue but once you start to pick it up this is a greta little 'one more battle then bed' type game.

However, it has crashed on me a couple of times. The first, no big deal, the second a catostrophic BDOD that when I returned to the game had wiped my savegame and lost a year's progress which is a real shame as I don't really want to waste any more time with it now.

I'm on Windows 10 but I;m pretty sure it's noting to do with my system. Still recommend it, but don't get attached to your dudes. They either get sliced up or Windows kills them anyway 2 days before the big fight :(

Man, this is so close to being my fave arcade shoor. Played it on Xbox One and loved it so I decided to get it on Steam and install it into my actualy MAME PC arcade cabinet.

Then it all goes wrong, my arcade joystick and buttons are connected to an iPac2 keyboard controller and what does Sky Force do when it detects it is being played with a keyboard - turns on an autofire with no option to turn it off. WTF?

Googled around and found a quote from the dev saying people with keyboads requested it and they didn't want to clutter the options letting me turn it off. Again WTF, what a missed opportunity. Don't tell me they way I should be configured boys. Really disappointing.

I can just about get away with not letting me recongif the keys but forcing autofire on me.. crazy.

Terrible shame.
