Too much P2W

Cons: Weapon evolutions are locked behind a skill-tree style progression system and are linear to each weapon, so no weapon/skill combinations like VS. Skill-tree progression system is way too slow and is very clunky to navigate (I had to spend way too much time hovering over skill-tree nodes trying to find ones I had unlocked). Final boss is insanely over-tuned, even with the entire skill tree unlocked it took 30 mins and was way too difficult. The second hardest boss takes a tenth of that time to beat.

Pros: Challenges are fun. Game play is VS but with map exploration.

If you've played VS, 20 Minutes till Dawn, etc. and are desperate for a new VS, and it's on sale, then I'd recommend it. Otherwise, go play those first.

The new UI is terrible. There's less visible information and more cramped space.

10/10. Better version of Vampire Survivors. Characters and guns are great. I only wish there were more Darkness levels, 15 is not enough!

Controls don't work. Can't play.
