In this games current state I would not recommend it to anyone with an HTC Vive or Vive Pro headset. I bought this game to play in VR with my friends and when I got into the game I noticed that the controls were very sensitive. What I mean is that if you lightly brush the right touchpad the game will whip you around at high speeds. If you do the same to the left it will move you in reference to your controllers position. After spinning around in circles for a few seconds I went to the settings hoping to find some sort of fix. The problem here is that there's no way to change the controls so that you need to press the touchpad to activate the movement, and for someone like me, who has fairly average to slightly small hands, I found myself brushing against them quite often. The closest I could get the game to "playable," was to turn the movement to teleport, which required a click, and the turning to a speed of 1 on smooth. This however made it hard to play in a small area and even when I moved to a larger one I found that the teleportation was inaccurate and restricted you from areas that smooth movement would let you go. I tried custom bindings through SteamVR's software but that did not help. The dev's will need to optimize the controls to make this game playable on the Vive systems.

TL;DR for HTC Vive user's, this game has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and I can't recommend it.

Picked this game up a while back and never fully finished it. The release of the Iceborne DLC has restored my passion for this game and I'm currently making my way through Iceborne and I've been having a great time. I would definitely recommend this game paired with the Iceborne DLC to anyone looking for a fun game that's easy to learn but could take years to fully master.

This game is really fun to play solo or with friends. It has some glitches now and again but its not game breaking.

Honestly thought it'd be hot garbage. It is but that is what makes it so great.
