Damn this game is good!

Think of a DOS 2 (Divinity OS 2) in a post-apocalyptic setting with less Magic but more pew pew and a bit more of that Fallout New Vegas humour!

Story, Quests Encounters and Dialogues are well made and entertaining - also the characters have voices and talk to you, which is nice if you don't like to read that much in RPGs - but you won't get the narrator telling you if the NPC scratches his bum while talking to you unlike DOS 2 :D

The only negative thing that comes to my mind is a bit of FPS drops in like 2 levels / instances, but that's really nothing to worry about :P aaaaaaand maybe that you can only play as a party of 2 where you have actually more characters to play with (playing this with 4-5 friends would be hilariously good @devs)

Heyo there!

Overall it was a really nice experience as we played through the game as a party of 3 - one person is hosting so you might want to have a stable connection - but the game saves where you quit - so that's cool.

The game defenetly has some flaws, like a few bugs here and there with the UI or not being able to shoot after switching weapons too fast later in the game (lol) which is all kinda rare and not gamebreaking, since it's fixed by just reconnecting real quick.

Me personally had crashes when a specific type of enemy unit died on my screen (but was cool when not in vision range) - but didn't happen for my 2 buddies - but just wanted to call that out.

Though, all of that is overshadowed by the great atmosphere created by stunning graphics, creativity in leveldesign and intense aswell as epic music that fits the action or setting you're in at every given moment!
The gun variety is alright and the Skill-System is actually a bit deeper as you might think at the beginning (tip: your attributes influence your augmentation strength) :)

You really get something for your money here - and the gore is just the cherry on top (or everything for some people :D).

Always nice to come back to again after a while and have some really good time with friends ;)

The game really pays alot of attention to detail, and just has a nice atmosphere overall, may it be the animals running around while you hear the bees humming in the backround while you have the crisp sound of your axe hitting a tree - or sitting in a dark dungeon freezing to death being haunted and hunted by shadows, you get it all! :D

+ WORKSHOP! So many characters and much more to discover!! Gotta love the modding communities <3

TL;DR: Game kinda sucks, even tho you get your BF moments from time to time - better wait 6 months or a year to pick it up - If you're a true Battlefield hardliner this won't be the game you dreamed of sadly.

Hardcore fan of the Battlefield-Series since 1942/Vietnam here.

I really tried to give this game a chance and ignore all my mates saying "you're just way too negative about all of this". Even when the "BETA" was already a punch in the d***.

The game is a complete mess of a bugfest: you have to restart your game like every second match or something. Reviving doesn't work 100% of the times, glitching through walls alot (playermodel, drones) getting killed while / after entering a vehicle because of the animation - It really stresses me out at times!

The maps are unbalanced and just badly designed: try to win breakthrough as an attacker with 40 defenders sitting on top of the skyscraper on caleidoscope with a T-28, unlimited AA-Launchers on Foot and the same amount of Aircrafts as the attackers - also - all the maps feel like I play Golmud-Train (BF4) all day - Is there no place for infantry? why is there only open spaces and 0 cover? dice wtf?

the worst is the identity loss and loss of core features of battlefield, which hurts the most:
Classes - this is more Overwatch / R6Siege-Style, and I hate it - this ain't battlefield wtf, also - EVERY SOLDIER can now carry RPG / AA / Spawnbeacons / Healing / Ammo - we're all supersoldiers and all special, no teamwork needed - thats what it feels like....
Weapons - there's really only few and the gunplay mostly sucks OR the gun's are OP (PP29 for example, 54 round SMG doing same / more dmg than the AK lmao)
Repairing in Aircraft - just doesn't work consistently??
Spawns - they really made me ragequit twice - why do you have to respawn out on the open field next to enemy tanks and units, that are actually spawncamping you?
Ingame Squad-Menu - No, you shall not have it easy to play with your friends, especially when you're more than 4, HAHAAA!! (It doesnt exist anymore)
Voice-Chat - Why would you remove it????????????????????????????????????????????? IS THIS NOT A MULTIPLAYER GAME?
Competetiveness - there's no scoreboard anymore - why? too many crybabies? to hide cheater scores?? what is it???
Gunplay - Feels really wonky at times and the weapon balancing is kinda off (not even going to start with shots not connecting and dissapearing and stuff (bugs))
Point System and Suppression - kinda sucks and doesn't really give the same feeling as back in the day - no real suppression it feels like aswell and no points for Squad-Orders (Rewards teamplay)

really hovered above the refund a few times, I really hope the game will turn to the better, but so far it's been such a dissappointment, that I reinstalled BF4 aswell and I actually enjoyed that alot more!

TL;DR: 100% Worth its money, devs sticked to their roots and made a gem! + Epic Co-op!

Brings back good memories from the old WC3 mod, but the nostalgia was not crushed with this one for me - it got enhanced!

You really get into it fast and its quite addicting! I also like that you can step by step unlock the other starting kits by the currency you earn from playing (not pay-barrier!!) and discover different builds with all the new units!

For anyone that's new to Legion TD: The game really has more depth as it may look like for some ppl, you can not only stack towers at the front, you can be very creative, try out some strategies like "splitting" or try to get a friend to play with you so you can build together in a lane, even in a 4v4 :)

Would actually recommend the game, but today I came back for the 5th or 6th playthrough with a friend of mine to enjoy some classic SC Coop action, just to get told the servers are offline - NOICE.

If you want to play the singleplayer campaign it's propably worth to get the game on sale, since thats only a 1/3 of the game you would actually pay for (You'll miss online-coop AND Spies vs Merceneries).

As far as I know u can't even simulate LAN via Hamachi or sth, since there's online-only!!!

edit: There is a way, but the whole process, and to know the online structure still exists is really f***d up and no sane person could comprehend what Ubi was thinking there >.<
so MP exists if you get through the struggle to make it work, but noone knows for how long!

Don't get me wrong, actually loved the game and if you just want to have some fun with friends and try the game go for it (just dont give them money!!!)

Thought about coming back just now and just saw that I now miss half of all the avaiable DLC's (including heists) even tho I bought the "Ultimate Edition" where they announced there won't be any more DLC's ever (at least not to pay for).

They straight up just lied to us wtf

Really kinda disappointed and reason enough for me not to reinstall rn.
