I've had this game for 5 days and I have played almost 36 hours. Nearly 30% of all my time. The other 70% was split between sleep and other stuff. Lucky I'm on holidays...

Anyway, this game is addictive, moreso than any other I've encounted. There is always a nagging voice in the back of your head saying "One more improvement" or "Just one more hill to explore".

Being early access, there is the odd bug here or there: Animals not using walking animations, chests that are unreachable, etc, but they are very easy to overlook, and the core gameplay cycle is polished and works exceptionally well. It is obvious the devs care a lot about the game, it's players and their experience.

The design direction is also superb. The machines all look fantastic, make the right noises. The flora and fauna in the world are suitably alien, yet not unfamiliar. Their behaviour matches their design, and after one interaction, you can see exactly how you need to play to overcome it.

This game is astoundingly good, hours will be lost, tidying up your spagetti conveyor belts or reoganising your storage, and this is where the game really shines, when it lets you set everything up exactly how you like it.

Can't wait for the next updates and eventual release.

A fantastic break from some of the other more well known FPS games. I feel more likely to win if I am smarter than the other team as opposed to just being more mechanically skilled than them.
