The things I do to earn a badge. I suck at reviews. When put a gun to my head, I'd come up with some crap like thumbs up or thumbs down. Less complicated than scores out of ten or giving out stars.

Look, I don't play many RTS games. I don't pretend to be an expert but I like this game and I've played it a lot.

Two thumbs up! Cowabunga, dude!

Weapons with unlimited ammo after upgrades, super powers, fighting aliens, saving planet Earth. What's not to love? Hours of mindless fun in this game.

It wasn't too difficult to beat in Normal mode but I have this personal hatred of platforming games. You know where you had to run and jump at the right moment to get somewhere. I absolutely suck at those. I'll be happy to Bronze medals on those Rift side quests.

That said I've encountered a few problems about this game:
- it crashed many times for me; like 30 plus time before finally beating it in Normal mode.
- for some reason, it didn't autosave and I had to redo many side quests.
- it didn't record any Steam achievements for me. My brother, who played on the same PC using a different save, had no such problems. Probablhy something I did/clicked somewhere, I can't tell.

Anyway, the customisation here is nice. I made a smokin' female character with purple hair and ponytail and later realised she looked a bit like Lara Croft. Seems I had a thing for her and never realised it. Hmph.

Thumbs up all round.

I love Borderlands and Borderlands 2.

I've mixed feelings about The Pre-Sequel because I hate platformers. I'm one of those who can't seem to wrap my head around running and precise jumping. And I'm expected to shoot and throw grenades while jumping as well.

Don't get me wrong, I find it fun. Just couldn't stand the platforming parts.
