♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I enjoyed this game more than I expected. I definitely didn't go in expecting to hate it or anything, but I expected it to be just another murder mystery visual novel game with some exploring elements. At it's core that is what it was, but it is also so much more.

You can tell a lot of thought and love was put into this game. The devs decided to put their effort into making the game unique and stylized instead of aiming for extreme realism in the graphics, and it works well. The sound effects, the music, the menus, it all plays into the vaporwave aesthetic. The characters all suck in the best ways, there is so much to uncover about all of them to a point where it can be overwhelming but the game does a good job of letting you know when there are still things you're missing and nudging you in the right direction without being too handholdy.

There are quite a lot of collectibles, and you will have to do some platforming to get them all, but there are upgrades you can get throughout the map that help a lot and as someone who does not particularly like platforming, I found it pretty easy. I perfected the game in 15 hours, although at least a couple of those were me accidentally leaving the game open so it was probably more like 13.

My only negatives are 1. that the game does not auto save and you need to go to save points to manually save, which does make sense for the game/aesthetic but I find annoying anyways lmao, and then 2. the notes automatically saved in the case files can sometimes be missing some key info that helps build a picture of what happened, things that I only remembered because I noted them in my head. Not a huge deal, because you can still figure it out without those small details, just something to keep in mind going in.

Overall a very very fun and unique game with a world that I would love to potentially return to some day.

I don't typically vibe with time management sims, they are usually too stressful for me, but this one isn't stressful at all. It does get repetitive by the end and there are some small issues (typos, bugs where employees get stuck, etc) but nothing I can't look past. A few of the achievements are also pretty grindy, took a while for me to get a couple even after completing everything else in the game, but nothing absolutely absurd. Overall a very charming, satisfying game and I will definitely be playing the second one when it comes out

Mostly wanted to play this for the puzzles, but I ended up liking the story a lot. The voice actress for Norah did really well, especially with the emotional parts. I only ever got stuck at one part, and looking online it seemed to be a part a lot of people got stuck on lmao. I loved having the journal and how any useful info I examined would just automatically get added so that I didn't have to physically write it down myself. It was also super easy to go back and get the achievements I missed, the chapter select was really well done. My only big issue was that there were a few parts that were basically just walking/moving forward for a while (at a glacial pace even when sprinting), which I understood the point of for the narrative but I still am typically not a fan of sections in games that are just "walk for a while until something eventually happens finally." Otherwise, a very very good game.

An overall fun experience. I definitely had some bugs and issues, but nothing that couldnt be either ignored or fixed with a restart. I can't tell if I liked this or campus better, but i liked both enough to spend over a hundred hours each perfecting them so it is a definite recommend from me.

Loved my time with this game. The completion made me want to rip my hair out and bang my head against a wall at times. Very fun! Do recommend

I really wish I could recommend this, because I genuinely did find it fun to play, but there are so many glaring issues that I truly cannot. There are so many bugs in offline mode, and the devs just announced that their final update in a month will make the game offline only and also will not fix any of the bugs or issues. The game felt like it had such good bones and could have been great with just a few tweaks, but unfortunately those tweaks will never come. Genuinely a shame.

I am not even remotely finished with the game but I am absolutely in love with it, there is so much more content than I expected. The art style is so adorable and so much of the game is so well put together and thought out, you can tell a lot of love was put into it. I will definitely say, it is a little more complicated than you may expect going into it, so I would definitely recommend trying out the demo first to see if it is something you would be interested in. I wasn't even sure at first because there is a LOT to learn but once I picked most of the basic mechanics up I became obsessed.
Also, one of my favorite parts of the game are the accessibility options. I am disabled and have significant hand pain, and it is so nice having accessibility options that allow me to still play the game without disabling achievements or taking away from the experience at all. Just the ability to have machines run automatically when the cursor is over it instead of having to drag back and forth, something that would cause substantial pain to my hands and wrists, makes the difference between being able to actually play or not for me. I heavily appreciate the thought put into that.
Overall, definitely a recommend, I will probably be playing 100+ hours of it to get the perfection

I still have quite a bit left to play but I think I have played enough to do a review, and I will say this is one of those games where I wish there was a middle between yes and no. It is fun enough that I keep playing it and will most likely finish up all the content it has to offer, but there are just so many issues as well. First, the game hand-holds you the entire time, but most of the time not in any useful way. I have gotten to a point where I skip through all the text and just play, only checking the logs if the task is too vague. I have zero idea what the story is at this point. Also, the color scheme absolutely WRECKS my eyes. It is so supremely bright. I have actually had to stop playing once because I started developing a headache from this game. The random switches between the dark screen for the minigames back to the bright white of the scenes makes it 10x worse. Now, again, there is a lot of good too. There are some pretty cool mechanics, the scenes are overall fun in their design, I like that there is almost post-game content where you can go back to past scenes and find specific people.

To summarize, there is enough good content that to me it was worth the cost (got it 50% off) and I definitely enjoyed it to some extent, but a lot held me back from fully being able to recommend it. Definitely not at full price.

For how cheap the game is, I am genuinely surprised at how much content is in it. The puzzles aren't really complicated but they are thought provoking enough to still be fun as I go through, and they are VERY satisfying. Very very cute, highly recommend
