5-ish years later since purchase and a couple hundred hours of practice on PC alone, I think I can safely say this game gud. I started playing with 0 prior guitar knowledge and basically taught my self how to play through this game almost exclusively. The only outside help I got was a week of guitar lessons a couple of years in to playing but stopped after that. I have continued to play guitar almost every single day for at least and hour for almost 6 years now. I'm hooked, love the game! Only issues I have are with the tone quality and hit registration with none humbucker pick-ups, but it doesn't bother me that much to make playing frustrating.
