best 3d fallout, 2nd best in the series. its also the best way to play 3 in a roundabout way

if youre a fan of old school RPGs then youll love this. this is bar none the greatest game ive ever played. the combat system takes a little bit of time to get used to but once you do its fun as ♥♥♥♥. you cant go wrong with any version of this game but id try to avoid the PS1 version bc of annoying load times between battles. this game is as close to being perfect as it gets

update: ive since gotten a snes copy, and played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. more than i have on here actually. i can confirm that any version that isnt the ps1 is perfect. without spoiling anything, the snes translation isnt as faithful to the japanese/retranslation, but it has way more charm and i honestly prefer it. theres only 2 games in the series so its not like the canon matters that much anyways

i wish i could go back to my 14 year old self and tell him to not get too invested in this game. it ultimately ended up being a waste of what should have been a good part of my life. i really should have just gotten into cs and been an awper instead. maybe then i wouldnt have totally pissed away my youth. anyways the game is unplayable sans a couple community servers which wouldnt be a problem for a 17 year old game if valve werent actively making money off it still

not as fun as 2 or new vegas. id say its as fun as 4 but in the same way as 2 and nv if that makes sense. the best way to play it these days is with fallout et tu though.
