I've been chipping away at this game for a while now. Stage-by-Stage. Rally-by-Rally
The menu music is a reminder that there is always a challenge ahead of you.
Getting past a stage feels like you have accomplished something.
Its always engaging as that Italian A.I is always just a milisecond ahead of you, telling you just to put your foot on the gas a little bit more longer.

In the beginning of playing this game, I was shocked. It was so realisitic compared to those arcade games I used to play like [V-Rally 2] and [Sega Rally Championship]. Maybe because they were older games, but it felt fantastic to ride in a car that attempted to challenge you.
First playing the rounds, it was a matter of getting used to the rally events and the amount of troughs and crests you had to get used to.
There was always that corner that you would keep on stuffing up and having to retry it, over and over and over again. Eventually you would've done it and encountered another corner that messed you up. By then you might as well ragequitted.
There is no rewind button like there is on Forza games. So you just have to restart or suffer that time lose. Which was very important as you devoted yourself to finally ace that stage and improve yourself as a Rally Driver.
Grinding my hours into this game, attempting to reach the Masters Championship it became apart of my weekend routine. Having an hour in just to beat an event/stage.

Saying that this game is the GOAT of all racing games may be a little far-fetched but I believe it is.
I cant wait to see what DiRT Rally-2 has installed for us.
P.S: [Playing Miami Nights-Accelerated while driving the Audi Quattro up Pikes Peak feels amazing, you should try it]
