Does some very interesting things with the genre, every skill has it's own individual 'skill tree' which makes builds super flexible a lot of the time. Bosses have some weird scaling issues and the difficulty curve is maybe a bit rough, but this may only be an issue in single player, have not done as much multiplayer on my end so hard to say if that improves things in this regard. Pretty consistently great art style, enemies are fun to encounter and there's good variety beyond just 'skeleton with sword', some pretty cool monster designs here and the bosses range from giant dragons to classic 'big man with sword'.

The crafting system is a standout where usually looting is the 'best' way to get gear in a game like this. Here you're able to craft and improve gear on a pretty consistent basis and there's never a point where it's 100% 'not worth it' to craft as opposed to finding good drops instead. Heavily recommend if you're a fan of ARPGs like Grim Dawn, POE etc.

While the pricing is somewhat inflated, the content itself presents one of the best DLCs so far for WH3 (beats out Champions of Chaos by a fair margin IMO).

The Chaos Dwarfs are super polished and have a really enjoyable playstyle focusing on economy and trade to large extent. It's cool to finally have a factory/mass production type faction to play as. More variety is always good and their roster has some of the best variety out of all the WH3 factions so far.

A bit rough at launch, but after a year of updates the game is definitely a solid successor to TWH2.

Really interesting evolution of the concepts established in that one flash game (if you know, you know).

Excited to see where this one goes, seems like some new features are on the horizon and the developers seem receptive to feedback. Give it a try if you're interested in a more laid-back roguelike, really engaging gameplay with ~20-30 minute sessions.

A fantastic value (free game!) for a really in-depth transportation/business sim. Gives games like Simcity, Cities Skylines etc a run for their money and has a very charming aesthetic despite featuring very dated graphics and UI design.

Definitely worth a try for the asking price.

Seamless blend between large-scale RTS combat and a pretty good 4X strategy game which gives a lot of weight and context to the battles. Some factions are definitely harder to play than others but the different game mechanics provided for each one gives this game potentially endless replay value.

Definitely worth checking out for the dinosaur vs. dragon battles if nothing else.

Fantastic co-op or solo experience, really nails that feeling of getting overwhelmed by hordes of enemies but without being so difficult that it becomes annoying. Good variety of mission types and some special events keep things interesting and the enemy variety/different environments make for a variety of challenges based on the map you play on.

Devs continue to improve the game based on feedback, updates add a ton of content.

Really offers a lot of content for the asking price, and the new update adds a ridiculous amount of content for what could have been a four year old game left finished by its developers.

Instead, a new class with interesting mechanics (summons), new random events and encounters, and secrets to find have been added which really help to spice up some of the more uneventful parts of the game (midgame, cave dungeons, forests). Props to the developers for releasing such a great *free* content update.

Very reasonably priced for what you get, and really improves the design options for aquariums. The new options for decorations in and out of tanks are especially helpful considering that the choices felt somewhat limited before. The new animal species are an added bonus, and improve the already huge variety of fish you can feature in your aquariums.

While this game was pretty empty and pointless at release, that isn't the state it's in right now, people buying this game in 2021 will get a completely different experience. The team has continued to add content for years since the initial release now with many major systems and improvements (base building, freighters, npc towns) which have substantially improved the gameplay over time.

At this point, the game has more content than what was promised before release, it just took about five years to get there. Definitely worthwhile to check out at the current state, especially if you like exploration/building types of games.
