It's the best, most realistic zombie apocalypse simulation ever. The learning curve can be brutal, I almost quit like ten times just figuring things out.

By default, the game has a very punishing set of rules which make it so even a single attack from a zombie could be the end of your character, lots of people will hate on those who turn this off, but I think you should. It discourages learning, and it can create that 'quit moment' that would rob you of experiencing the best Zombie Apocalypse simulation planet earth has to offer. If you stick around long enough, eventually you will get a hunger for the more hardcore settings.

It's very basic. Run around, gather things, make your numbers go up. I don't know who this game is for, perhaps people that are torn between actually playing a game or watching an idle game?

As a person that has spent thousands of hours in games of this genre, it is my opinion that this game has the potential to be amongst the best!

Fallout new vegas had a baby with borderlands.

While the game's world is not as fleshed out as what you would expect as the spiritual successor of fallout: new vegas, it still has that charm, and if you are like me you will find yourself giggling at what random NPCs have to say, and the ridiculousness of the corporate world gone wrong setting.

We have a perk and skill system, but it does not go nearly as in depth as some other games that share the genre. Equipment customization is a mechanic, but when new tiers of weapons and armor appear, they quickly overshadow old gear and at some point the amount of currency you have to sink into a beloved old weapon becomes untenable.

Weapon and Armor variety feel to be a bit lacking. Consumables on the other hand are far too numerous. there are multiple versions of every consumable effect in the game which can make navigating your inventory quite an annoyance.

I got this game for half off on a sale, and I would say I don't regret my purchase. It definitely didn't hook me in the same way as fallout 3 and fallout: new vegas, but if you liked those games and don't mind the art style creeping more towards borderlands, you will also like this game.

It has many similarities to Darkest Dungeon, but it isn't as brutal.

In this game, you get to be the evil dude that causes heart attacks and sows insanity. I ran through the game on the Cakewalk and More Pain! difficulties and it was both challenging and rewarding. Got around 40 hours of playtime out of it and enjoyed myself immensely.

I don't even really like FPS games but I love KF2.
