This game has an unfathomably fun gameplay loop with a bottomless well of customization, fashion, meta, buildcrafting, weapons, and skill. You can make up for bad mechanical skill with a good build, you can make up for bad buildcrafting with good mechanical skill. Destiny has been one of the two FPS games I enjoy the most, even without the nostalgia factor (I started playing 2022).

The only issue I have with this game is that quests are tedious sometimes and the game is expensive to play. Don't get me wrong, $100 yearly sounds like a lot but it's comparable to stuff like spotify premium, discord nitro you get the idea. However, it's still a lot of money considering what you get is a handful of new armor pieces, weapons, a short story quest, and at most a subclass.

Although the new expansions are expensive as ♥♥♥♥, at the very least, the old expansions are put up for super cheap in comparison.

TL:DR the moment you first start to shatter/well skate or you start fully understanding your build, you'll understand just what this game has to offer.

My loadout has the revolver, dual berettas, negev, m249, and various shotguns, since that's what the valve devs intended.

Five ruffians rush B towards me.
"What the devil?" As I throw my molly at them and draw my xm1014.
Blow a yoga ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot +$900.
Draw my revolver on the second man,
miss him entirely because right click has 0 accuracy and nail the third man in the head.

I have to resort to the negev I dropped off at CT spawn during freeze time,
"Tally ho lads" the 150 bullet laser shreds two men in the suppressing fire,
the sound and gunshots make my teammates rotate in a hurry from the A site.

Pullout my glorious $250 budget knife and glove combo and charge the last terrified rapscallion.
He gets stabbed and turned into $1500 before my teammates arrive on the scene,
since he was wounded from my molotov and incapable of surviving a right click,

just as the valve devs intended.

God bless this damn game.
