Local man using profile named: "Spiderman Selfie" donated 350 Million Dollars to charity Kickstarter run by Spiderman to win the prize for most generous donor: A selfie with Spiderman. Spiderman responded by tweeting the following: "Wow guys, $350,000,020!! What a major W, I am so proud of this community!" Mr. Selfie showed up to the Selfieshoot in a crappy Spiderman costume, clearly several sizes too small and had this to say: "..."
Since the incident the people of the internet and the people of new york have taken to heckling Mr. Spiderman whenever he is seen holding something of monetary value. It is common to hear people say "Ah, Spiderman Selfie back at it again, ey Spidy?" these days. The selfie itself-ie has been turned into a meme, with many internet denziens reposting it with topical captions regarding overpriced things. A large outcropping of fake Spiderman Selfie accounts using the selfie as their profile picture have also popped up, and aside from getting verified the original account has since remained dormant. The eyes of the world have moved on from trying to deduce Spidermans identity in favor of trying to answer the question: "Who is Spiderman Selfie?" Even J Jonah Jameson has cast his hat into the ring with a wild guess: "Spiderman Selfie IS Spiderman, THAT MENACE!!"
