Having a lot of fun with this.
The story is basic and the characters are not that interesting but the gameplay is super enjoyable.
It's challenging and the rogue like card/deckbuilding system is a great addition to the intended replayability design of the game.
Fans of PvE Left 4 Dead online coop will surely enjoy this.

Here for all the coop PvE content: Campaign, Escape and Horde mode. All of that is great.

There is so much variety in everything. The starting zone has like 6 potential ways to escape the area. Some are obvious, some are hidden, but the fact is that you really do forge your own story.

That's already quite the feat to have in a 100+ hour RPG, but then there's the combat system. OMG! It is fantastic. Very strategic! Very challenging! Very Rewarding!

That's even more quite the feat...

BUT then there's the 4 player co-op... and that's when you realise...

this game is a masterpiece.

It's fun, strategic and very satisfying to play.
There is no pay to win. Beyond the game purchase, all money spent is for cosmetics. Some may argue that the micro transaction system is greedy or too random. It's optional.

Spend the $20 if your interested. It is well worth your money.

Note: Fair warning though, you need to invest a lot of time into this game to become decent, but the matchmaking
does a good job putting you with similarly skilled players.

Everything with this game is so well done. Left 4 Dead 2 is the best zombie game to date. :)
