This is it for me. A game that combines my love of psychological themes, (lightweight) Norse themes, deckbuilding roguelikes, and a profoundly rich soundtrack. While not currently very long, it was a strongly personal experience for me. If I could make games, I would've made this for myself.

I wish there were a neutral recommendation for games. It looks and feels pretty good, but the game somehow feels like both a grind and also chaotic at the same time. As others have said, implementation of crafted traps would help a bit with the anxiety-inducing night play and Jotun. Part of this could also be because I was playing solo, and intend on playing with friends soon. Small nitpicks, from a Heathen perspective, the Runes are somewhat wrong in the loading screen, and I hoped for a larger presence of the Gods themselves, but this is very minor.

Ten year old game which runs terribly, crashes randomly, and for some reason I threw away 70 hours to it. This is completely my fault, and I urge you to look elsewhere for entertainment.

There are so many other constructive reviews that it seems difficult to add something original to the mix. Let me tell you, love it or hate it, you will get your money's worth. Just look at all of the reviews; whether or not someone enjoys this game doesn't mean they still won't sink 20, 40, 80 + hours into it. Usually negative reviews are roughly under an hour, with people not giving a game a chance (some games aren't worth it) and supplying a superficial review. If I myself throw over 40+ hours into a game and actually write a review, you can bet I'm in love with it.
