Treyarch once again proves they're the ONLY cod developer left who still makes truly great call of duty games. They haven't failed once with their full game releases to this day. World at War is a masterpiece, black ops is a masterpiece, black ops 2 is amazing, black ops 3 is amazing aside from the campaign, black ops 4 is pretty good and cold war is a criminally underrated and overhated game. Black ops 6 is great in every aspect, but ESPECIALLY the zombies is amazing. They've evolved the zombies from cold war in a great way and while the difficulty is way harder, it isn't unfair. You just have to figure out how to work with it. The campaign is also pretty damn good, but it doesn't quite reach the heights of cold war. Multiplayer might be the most problematic aspect of this game. There's still a big problem with SBMM being turned to the max, but overall i do have more fun then not while playing. The maps could be better, but the weapon selection is good and if you are a fan of cod OR arcade fps shooters, i'm sure you'll enjoy this aspect of the game as well. People need to realize that cod won't ever go back to the way it was, for better or for worse. The nostalgia of the older games is mainly what's causing the backlash in my opinion. Of course, there's been some problems with the recent entries in the franchise, but people need to calm down and not let our love for the masterpieces in the past destroy the reputation of what's a truly good call of duty game. Treyarch are cooking with this game as they always do. Enjoy treyarch's year while you can! After next year, we won't have a new truly amazing call of duty experience for a few years.

Multiplayer is far better then MWII's multiplayer, which in my opinion was one of the absolute worst mp's in recent memory. This one is highly entertaining and i actually truly enjoy my time in it for the first time since cold war. In MWII, i just kinda needed something to pass time whenever i played it, which also is ok, but this is just far more fun. I haven't had time to touch the campaign yet, but holy have i heard some bad ♥♥♥♥ about it. Even if it's hot garbage, it's still not the most important part of cod and never will be, so i don't understand the freaking review bombing because of the part of cod you spend the LEAST amount of time on lol. Zombies is OK, but i've honestly barely touched it. Overall a decent addition of cod which i do recommend to FPS arcade shooter fans.

I highly discourage buying this game for pc for the sole fact that the game is complete garbage to play with MnK. And even IF you try to play it with controller, it's a complete nightmare to set up. The game itself might be great. Or not. I couldn't take it because of the horrible MnK setup.

Many people consider this the WORST call of duty ever made. I certainly understand the problems with it and the reasons for the hate it got/get. But honestly i think this is a pretty decent entry in the franchise. It's definitely toward the bottom of the list, but there are very few cod games i find completely unplayable. There is enjoyment to be had in every cod game except the three first in the franchise for me. Zombies in this one however is complete garbage and probably the worst edition of zombies i've ever played. The campaign is actually pretty decent. The flaws of the campaign are more regarding the plot and writing, not the gameplay. The worst part of the campaign for me are definitely the extreme cringe of the characters, but none are WORSE on cringe factor then the character of Polina Petrova. But the gameplay and missions in this campaign is what makes it pretty decent. It's fun to play through the campaign even when it has one of the weaker plots and characters of the franchise. Still better characters then the ghost and black ops 3 campaign!

The multiplayer is half good and half bad. The main problem with it right now is the fact that it's pretty dead for a game that's not even two years old at the time i'm writing this review. But there's definitely entertainment in the multiplayer. Still, the game is a pretty mid tier cod in both campaign and multiplayer. Zombies is as said the worst ever made. Worth buying on sale.

GREAT campaign. The rest of the game however.. Garbage. And that's putting it lightly. If we look past the great campaign, this is where infinity ward truly started ignoring the fanbase and started removing beloved and great additions that had been implemented in the cod franchise for years, the UI started sucking, the gunsmith became overly complicated and stupid (by giving you decreased aim down sight speeds, worse sprint to fire speeds, more recoil for all attachments worth putting on the weapons, etc etc) and the AWFUL plan of all the cod games using the same engine began here. A major problem only for this game and MWII is the idiotically fast time to kill. Why did they have to do this? I don't know. But they definitely shouldn't have. The worst part is that IW continued with not caring for the fanbase in MWII 2022, which shares the title of worst cod game ever made with MWII. Sure, it's "fun" for what it's worth (regarding multiplayer), but overall this game has ruined a lot of great additions that cod had before it was released. All in all, cod is still fun and even though i'm VERY harsh towards this game, i won't tell you not to buy it even though i don't recommend it. I just view it as the beginning of a horrible trend for Infinity Ward.

Spec Ops: 3/10

This is the first call of duty campaign that's ever made me tear up. Probably the best cod campaign made to this day. Slowly realizing how underrated this game is. The multiplayer is garbage, but the zombies is great as well. Two out of three modes are worth it here.

I will recommend this game, although it's far FAR from the best cod out there. The thing is that even though the game is riddled with a HUGE list of cons, the game still is fun to play and i have found myself playing it for a decent amount of time. BUT it's seriously lacking a good sidemode like zombies, extinction from ghosts or even survival from mw3. It does have spec ops but the spec ops isn't NEARLY at that level of good. All this game has going for it is the multiplayer (and warzone 2 and dmz, but both of those are complete garbage and a waste of time) and the multiplayer is decent. The campaign is also pretty decent if you care about that. But i probably will never play this game again once we get a new treyarch game or even potentially mw3 2023 comes out. It's as mid tier as it gets and also BARELY gets a recommend from me. If you like cod, you could probably have some fun with it. Or not. As you can see people are pretty split. If you want to play a cod game that's truly good all the way through, go play cold war. Criminally underrated.

Honestly the best campaign of the mw trilogy. Mw2 is the favorite of most i believe, but i honestly slightly prefer this one. I couldn't remember the campaign of this game being this strong. Highly recommend playing through the trilogy again for those who haven't done so in a while.

The game overall is fantastic. It got and still gets some hate from certain people, but i've always highly preferred what you get here over mw2.

Played this through battlenet until now. Had around 400 hours on it over there. Easily, EASILY the best cod since black ops 3. Not a big competition honestly, but it's the first one i've enjoyed and played to that degree since that game. Zombies is a blast, multiplayer is great and the campaign is fantastic, even better then the mw2019 campaign Imo.

Zombies: 8.5/10
