before getting into silent hill i remember seeing a review of this saying you should really play this after playing the original. I thought that was stupid because like, not everyone has time for that, and a good remake should serve as a worthy retelling on its own.
After playing the original SH2 though, I liked it so much I did play this, and I have to say that they are totally right.
This is a retelling that is different in so many subtle ways it might as well be considered a soft sequel. But everything it does different is still very in the vain of the original. Bloober has done the absolute best they could with the insane, monumental task of recreating one of the best games ever made. It's fantastic so far. Just fix the optimization man......

oh thats. thats a good sonic game in 2025 with little to no drawbacks or major flaws. huh. i think i am crying.
