hot robots

This is probably one of the games of all time

Hasn't aged the best and can take a while to pull you in, but once it does, it's undeniably one of the msot charming and thought-out platformers created. The story behind the game is really interesting too, if it interests you at all, there's a 3 part documentary series online that completely recontextualized how I saw the game.

Crazy Dave my beloved

This game is a mess of confusing spritework, built-in rpg maker scripts, and a tacked on ms-paint furry artstyle with fetishes thrown in to top it off. I recieved the game as a joke and even as someone who's (unfortunately) probably closer to the core demographic for this game than they'd like to admit, it's just not good at all and isn't worth your time or money.

I don't know how, but they did it. They made ball 3D.

false advertising. you can make RPGs with it, but nowhere did I see an option to make a Music Video.

Everhood

The beautiful and unexpected randomness and surreal artwork trumps any flaws I would normally have with retro first person dungeon crawling rpgs. Combining the curiousity to see what random, out of left field thing the game has in store for you next with repetitive gameplay makes the gameplay not feel so repetitive at all. Genuinely a delight for the price it's sold at and deserves more attention.
