Sony has listened to the massive backlash by the community and decided to not implement a requirement for a PSN Account.
This changes my main pain-point with the game and I will change my review as well.
The developers really created a game with much love and many details. The graphics are amazing and I always had much fun with my friends in this game.
I would recommend this game to anyone who likes horde shooters.
It's actually a great example of what a live-service game should offer.
Great overall story telling through the environment and major orders.
Monthly major patches with new content.
And the developers listen to their community.

But as a reminder of what Sony tried to do I will keep the text of my original review below this one:

"This game is great and has brought me a lot of joy when playing it with my friends. However Sony has decided that after 3 months of making a PSN Account optional that they are now forcing everyone to create a PSN account "to protect the players".
This is obviously ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as this game was already functioning without PSN Accounts and the Anti-Cheat is working without PSN Accounts as well.
The developers are great with the community but they had their hand forced by Sony.
This review serves as a reminder that players will not take everything from a company and that we don't want to feed the data hungry cooperations any further.
We want great games. And when companies decide to make stuff mandatory that wasn't before by providing such a lousy explaination for it then players will rise up."

It seems that Gaijin has indeed listened to the players.
They have published the following roadmap for changes to the game:

If they actually follow trough and do everything they promised in this roadmap then this will certainly become a great game again.
Since I have always enjoyed the game and am hopeful for a good future of this game I will change my review to be positive.

Disconnects, Bad Performance on Good Systems, regular Crashes, really low XP when completing a mission -> Grind will take forever -> not acceptable with such bad performance

Ich finde das Spiel an sich ganz cool. Story ist geil, Multiplayer-Modus, Eroberungs-Modus, etc verbesssern das SPielerlebnis. Das einzige Problem ist, das es bei mir nicht mehr startet :(
