Ignore playtime on steam, I have over 3k hours from the standalone launcher. It's one of the best MMOs out there to play.

But by the gods it's story is absolute garbage. You will suffer through hours of unskippable boring dialogue, wishing to tear your ears off your head to stop hearing the drivel, watching in apathy as the game pretends you have a bond to named NPCs. And you HAVE to go through the story to get to most of the mechanics which is the main reason to play.

If you could skip the story, I'd give it a hard recommend. As it is it's a: Worth it if you can suffer through the story, or distract yourself with more interesting media while it drones on.
