I am very picky when it comes to turn based games. This is one that is on my favorites now. The combination of card decks and combat scenarios are where it really shines. I was constantly trying new decks and new character combos. The game has a lot of variety when it comes to the core gameplay loop.

Personally I thought the story could have been deeper, but it takes a backseat so the gameplay can really shine. I found myself loving general missions more than story missions. Exploring the abbey is a fun puzzle, but lacks deeper lore than a couple collectibles. Would have really liked to see more universe building in the abbey.

The character moments were very enjoyable and conversations always seemed fresh. The comedy in the dialogue I felt was charming and well done. I am a cheesy joke guy though, so warning if you don't like cheesy or goofy jokes.

From stargazing with Spiderman to reading a book by the fire with Magik, this game has plenty of moments where characters shine.

In summary, characters were done well and mechanics are fun and evolve nicely. Story was nice but would have loved some deeper moments.

The fastest purchase I ever made. I was a big fan of Paragon before Epic Games killed it for Fortnite server space unfairly. This game is the future of the MOBA genre and it was unfairly shut down. I am happy to see it alive and well again and it will join back to my daily games.

I have always had a love for Life is Strange since I played the first game. After not being a fan of Life is Strange 2, I was ready to just get the Remastered edition of Life is Strange 1. I took a chance and bought this game and both my love and faith have been restored in the franchise. Although I do not think the first game can ever be dethroned, this game gave me the same type of emotional investment and weight to my decision making. Also the intrigue of a mystery drives the plot forward. The characters are amazing, and the LARP addition was fantastic. Overall happy to have played this game and have a renewed excitement for future installments!
