Fun platforming and a very well designed map full of interconnecting paths. Combat is shallow and feels forced at times. Some platforming puzzle solutions felt like I sort of cheated or exploited something to get through. I wish it was a little longer to make use of the final tools you get. Writing and setting aren't incredibly important to this kind of game but I couldn't tell you what it's about at all, other than being in a castle with a princess.

This is some of the best 3D platforming I've ever played, however. Definitely worth the price.

Great game, terrible policy from Sony on forcing PlayStation account integration despite it not being necessary. Will correct in the future if Sony backtracks this.

Edit: They did in fact backtrack on this. Now it’s just a good game!

Don't skip Blighttown, it's an essential part of the experience.
