Great rollback netcode which even has option UI elements to show how the netcode is doing. Animations are satisfying and the pixel lobby is easily the best out of all fighting games I have played. Even as someone that has no interest in MLP the game is a great time. (Also official Linux support is cool)

Forced Epic Online Services.

The game randomly crashes and the servers are still not good enough. LOD (level of detail) is tied to the resolution. There is no dynamic resolution option, only resolution scaling. Mechanically the game is better or the same than FH4 in every way. If the game gets updates to fix the problems I mentioned then I'll change this to a positive review. The Xbox Series FH5 limited edition controller dlc is not for Steam and it was not mentioned ahead of the pre-order being available.

Denuvo was removed and the soundtrack is amazing.

Update removed parts from the game that were already optional.

Bought this game for the Yuel DLC because of Herio's manga. This lived up to my expectations but rollback netcode would be nice.

Good game and based devs.

Rollback netcode with ArcSys' beautiful cell-shaded aesthetic along with animations that keep up. The battle UI and lobby are not great and there is no frame data in the training mode. A bonus is that the game doesn't have Denuvo.

Fun rhythm game that sorta plays like Muse Dash but switches between the left and right side of the screen. The aesthetic of the game is perfect and has big Trigger and Gainax vibes. The entirely original soundtrack is great. I highly recommend this version of the game and to be cautiously optimistic of the full game. If you choose the buy the soundtrack just be aware that it currently (June 13, 2021) doesn't come with any of the remixes, it just has the original versions and the instrumentals.
