This game is esentially a troll'ers wet dream, you can literally go into a game, kill yourself over and over and over for (-5 of total score each time)

There is no votekick! surrender takes 15 mins or so to kick in, and if your teammates quit they get deserter penalty.

the UI is buggered, the lag during the startup and join que is real. I just got into the game, joined a que nothing showed up for 5 minutes, quit the game, came back got deserter penalty 2 min wait.

This is because of the 2 part que. you get 10 seconds to click [join] (through lag/visible screen or not) if you dont click it your a deserter, it doesnt auto join, and then you get another 80 seconds to pick a character and if someone decides to take alllll the 80 seconds 9 players have to wait for 1 person. Should they choose not to select a character after that 80 seconds, guess what, restart whole que process

I wasn't basing it off of Arena, but off of any other gamemode with lanes and the concept of presence.

this is just off arena, but ive had close games with 4v5, but never had an even close game with a feeder, you start off with say 500 points, each enemy hero kill is 5, creep is 1 or something along those lones, so you lose 5 ever 10-50 seconds depends on time/level off my "assumption" with the way smite handles matchups sometimes you'll get 3 pro leagues vs 1 on your team plus noobs
so your saying that a 1 kill, 20 death, 1-3 assist thor is better off then a 4 man team trying to get a 1:1 ratio?

I completely disagree with the feeder thing, while I havn't played smite I know that in mobas, somone giving the other team money or experience and not contributing isn't better than just having a 4v5...

And yes, you are correct, I'm not one of the people unfortunate enough to experience those type of things. I don't understand how Hi-Rez still hasn't fixed some of these immensely disruptive bugs with connecting and such. I'd reccomend uninstalling and reinstalling if you haven't before, maybe switch between regions.

The only time that having uneven teams would be possibly good would be in a Joust setting, where you have a 2v3 from the beginning, as the experience gain is shared evenly.
A 5v5 with someone that is dying is still better than a 4v5 without that feeder, trust me. The lack of a 5th person, just in the general presence, is always a negative.
Trying to steal a GF or FG with only 4 people is generally harder, trying to defend is definitely harder (they know that only so many people can be spread across the map, so they can have one person split push and have the rest of the team pressuring the lane on the opposite side of the map). Even if the person isn't doing too good, it's still some damage and CC being thrown about, so, as long as the person isn't trying to front-line as a mage, he should still be useful.

I have no idea what you are on about, I said, the benefits of vote kick outweigh the negative, in this case, the game itself is harder then other games to 4v5 (should I be troll kicked) so its their loss. But! a 5v5 with a perma feeder is much much worse.

And im happy for you that you never had to experience lag, it works something like this, i click join game, there is no timer, screen is frozen, I wait 3-5 minutes, i alt+f4, i re-enter the game, it says 'deserter penalty'

Don't quite understand what you're saying, but it seems that you quit the game right as you entered a queue or something.


30 seconds to click join. Plenty of time. Auto-join is a thing when you press Replay after you finish a match I believe. You need to develop some patience if you can't wait 80 seconds before a match. You should be communicating with your team anyway.

Your first point is literally every single team-based co-op game where you're against someone. If that's a con, then you need to play more games.

This... is such a stupid idea. I'm sorry, but it is. There is no drop-in drop-out functionality as that would literally ruin the entire thing (You build against a Healer, but then the healer is replaced with an assassin, so you just wasted a lot of gold on healing reduction, either with items that have their value depreciated or an active that you can't sell back), and then the picks-and-bans stage of League Conquest and Pro level play would be worthless.
Also, gotta wait until 10 minutes in to surrender, and there is either a 5 or 10 minute cooldown on surrender.

Consider how well Global Agenda was done (lack of aussie servers aside), athough cant comment on Tribes, Seems like a step backwards for them not to think of something a bit more thought out. You can technically report a player for abuse or trolling after a game.

As I meantioned in me forum post, I dont know about other Mobas, but this one seems a lot harder to play 4v5, but yea if they want to troll kick me, it'll still be better then a guy feeding them every 5-30 seconds (think the kick system benefits would outweigh the cons)

What you described is esesentially every MOBA. Votekick would only lead to greater trolling.
