Played it since the start of EA
TLD is an actual survival game you must hunt, scavenge, find shelter, and manage your supplies or fade into the darkness. Has a unique spin on the survival/post apocalyptic genre no nuclear bombs, no zombies, no war..... but what would happen if all our technology stopped working? Hinterland has created true gem

PROS
-Canada
-Massive world
-Sandbox and story modes
-No zombies
-Linux support! respect
-Shooting/hunting with a bow or rifle requires some practice. You're not an expert from the start.
-Weight, wind chill, wetness, visibility, fatigue, ect have an actual impact and you cant just go running around in the middle of a blizzard and expect to live.
-Atmosphere is beautiful "quiet apocalypse" ....... a work of art
-Limited randomly spawning bunkers
-Can freeze food outdoors (would be nice to build a stash or have the outdoor containers from story mode in sandbox).
-new cooking system (some more depth would be interesting)
-RNGesus is everywhere

CONS
-Story mode is more like an extended tutorial with artificial difficulty added via the scripted bear fight. Really silly you have to shoot the same bear at 6 different locations (stopped playing here redux is on the way)
-ninja wolf spam! As I stepped out of the gas station I saw them spawn about 20ft away and insta agro. But they dont attack together instead they ninja you in quick succession http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1100646494
-Voice is missing in over half the dialog it really breaks the immersion going from fully voiced cut scene one moment to reading text dialog the next. (Redux on the way)
-Balance is still not right. Have full food and water then sleep for 9 hours only to wake up starving and thirsty
-You can only sleep in a bed, car, or bedroll. even when indoors you cant just "lay down for a bit"
-Can not cut down trees for firewood..... dafuk?
-Consolized Inventory wheel I would prefer an inventory bar with hotkeys but that just my preference (old system was better)
-bugs.... dev team has been really good with patching major problems quickly A+ for the dedication.
-Supposed to be Canada ey......... so where are the pancakes and maple syrup? frying pan?

way overpriced, paid dlc while in alpha access, out of touch with player base
