"Unparalleled. The definition of a true Final Fantasy."

Final Fantasy X is my favorite game of all time as it illustrates that video games, in addition to being a ton of fun to play, can also be cinematic masterpieces that convey stories in a way that no other medium can.

It's breathtaking in terms of narrative and theme, and the story's progression and conclusion are very moving. The characters are so full of love and passion throughout, and the main character Tidus plays the role of the character who would make us experience all the emotions necessary to embark on a journey of this kind. The world-building of Final Fantasy X really takes you by surprise as well. It doesn't try to overwhelm you with concepts and jargon you don't understand; instead, it lets you progressively learn how the universe functions at the same rate as Tidus.

The game offers a clear destination, a compelling mystery in Tidus and his motivation for being on Spira, and a captivating and masterful level of plot obfuscation regarding what Tidus actually knew about the universe he was in. The game is an absolute journey in every way. Final Fantasy X is already otherworldly just by viewing its dreamlike scenery due to its comprehensive, yet effective musical score and dynamic color palette... but more appreciatively, it's a tale that should be played by many more for its grandiloquent storytelling.

"Fatalistic Brilliance"

One of the most heartbreaking, yet surreal games I've ever played. Although structurally messy, its story made me feel the deepest of emotions. The game might be incomplete and have flaws in story direction and flow, but if you are willing to open your heart to the story Final Fantasy XV is trying to tell you can actually find a story is there all along.

As the narrative unfolds, you wholeheartedly experience the theme of camaraderie, as well as the abstract notions of betrayal, revenge, inevitability, and loyalty. Not to mention, it does a phenomenal job of delving extensively into both the antagonist and main cast (Noctis, Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis). Exceptional visual design, stellar music, and tight gameplay are all so beautifully well done.

Final Fantasy XV displays friendship and legacy unlike any other. But altogether... it's a proclamation on how influential one's destiny can be.
