Too lazy to write my big ass review yet, will say that the game is good, mechanics are funny and allow creativity with dealing with problems, yet of course be aware that something will always go wrong in barotrauma, from you underestimating the force of the incoming swarm to the power going off in just the right moment for everything to escalate into chaos. The game has a good modding community along with a few favourites of mods of course that you will encounter often yet due to the low amount of public servers along with the price tag of the game i recommend buying it at a discount with all your friends for the best possible experience.
