Writing this review as a player who only plays in a trio and not with randoms (though I have experienced it and you can just read through the other reviews for it, I completely agree with them)

First of all, this game is not an 'Elden Ring 2'. It's a spin off by FromSoft.

ER Nightreign has been one of the most fun co-op roguelikes I've played. The hard roguelikes for me were ETG, but then I learned the very communicative attack patterns from the bosses. Then it was RoR2, but then I learned enemy priority. I can see that Nightreign going to be consistently hard with how you're so limited with your time but there's so many things you need to worry about.

Your team composition matters a lot. Running 3 range-based characters would help you kill an Ancestor Spirit more efficiently, would making the choice to kill the same boss be as sensible when the whole team is running melee? Sure it's not a hard boss, but you'd take up so much time it would've been better if you farmed somewhere else.

The game lacks in some department though and I do hope FS is able to tend to those but all in all I enjoy this game and so do many of my friends.

I Ctrl+C'd a +4 for Uno and Ctrl+V'd subtly into my deck when it was anyone else's turn and used the +4s to piss my friends off.
